It sounds like your year has started of wonderfully. I am afraid we are still in hibernation with the weather still very cold. We don't really come back to life until spring. We are reading, playing games, cuddling in blankets by the fire and drinking warm drinks. I love your quotes by Henry. He always inspires me!In My Wild Edenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10943196871279605031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135916285632977024.post-63509146365444363762013-01-15T05:56:33.006-08:002013-01-15T05:56:33.006-08:00Lovely photos. Despite the heat of your summer, you do seem to have started the new year in a very positive and active kind of a way and that has, so very happily, included some very delicious thing to eat.

All of your pictures are wonderful but, like you, we have so loved the one of your son remaining aloof from those very small, energetic young children.Jane and Lance Hattatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16831890261259302647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1135916285632977024.post-26915976925288919162013-01-14T20:29:40.581-08:002013-01-14T20:29:40.581-08:00Living is so dear, is it not? Here in Western Oregon I have been freezing my a-double-s off. It has been in the twenties at night with frozen water for the chickens, frozen hoses and frozen me. I know this is fairly warm for others way up north, but for here it is a long stretch of cold. Have the Sleepy Time Tea in the cup and getting ready to fill the cheerful red hot water bottle for the bed and the fuzzy jammies.
I wish you the best..the kitchen tonight brought a deep dish quiche. Even tho. it leaked out a bit, it was good. xoxoellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18245099394863979981noreply@blogger.com
