A little more … a little less...

There's a rhythm in rush these days
Where the lights don't move and the colours don't fade
Leaves you empty with nothing but dreams
In a world gone shallow
In a world gone lean

Sometimes there's things a man cannot know
Gears won't turn and the leaves won't grow
There's no place to run and no gasoline
Engine won't turn
And the train won't leave

I will stay with you tonight
Hold you close 'til the morning light
In the morning watch a new day rise
We'll do whatever just to stay alive
We'll do whatever just to stay alive

Well the way I feel is the way I write
It isn't like the thought of a man who lies
There is a truth and it's on our side
Dawn is coming
Open your eyes
Look into the sun as the new days rise

And I will wait for you tonight
You're here forever and you're by my side
I've been waiting all my life
I can hear your heart as it's keeping time
We'll do whatever just to stay alive

Dawn is coming open your eyes

Dawn is coming open your eyes

Dawn is coming open your eyes

Happy New Year to all of you lovely wonderful people!
Welcome to new followers and thank you from my core
for taking the time to read my humble "secret garden"

I have yet to collect myself and begin with my own words
so I decided to let these inspiring lyrics say it for me

What I can say for sure though is this:

I'd like my now, my tomorrow and my forever to have just
a little more play and little less doubt
a little more hope and a little less stress
a little more fun and a little less pushing
a little more Yessss! and a little less Noooo!

Maybe if I can just tip the scales slightly
I'll slide in the right direction

You?
Your new year?
What would you like a little more of and a little less of?

♥♥♥

I would like a little more and a little less of exactly what you have said there ... you have put it perfectly. Time is what I am always chasing and it always seems to win the race ... so a little more of that to do what I want to do would be good! Wishing you a very happy 2014. M x

Hi Angy. What a powerful and beautiful post. Thank you for visiting me even though I have not posted for a bit. Having the boys home soaked up all my attention. I couldn't bear to miss a moment they were here. So now I am trying to catch up with my blog friends. I loved scrolling through your beautiful photos. I hope you and your family had wonderful holidays!

Wow Angy those photographs are exquisite. They're so atmospheric and I love, love love them!
Are you getting the gist...I LOVED them! ;D
I also enjoyed the lyrics and listened to the video clip too.
I had problems of what to start my first blog of the year and cheated really with just a silent photo!
I know I'm not usually stuck for words...but it was that I had too many and they were all jumbled up and fighting for position! I had to be rather strict.
Thanks for all your support and lovely comments over at my place. Seeing you in my inbox always brings a smile to my face.
Have a wonderful week x♥x♥

Oops I never answered your question...what a numpty?
I'd like more time or at least for time to slow down so that I could fit more of what I'd like to do ie art. It always seems to be at the end of the queue! :(
I'd like less...hmm...that's a toughy because I'm quite contented with what I have. I suppose it would have to be stress if you twisted my arm for an answer.
Anyway I've used up enough of your comment space.
Toodleloo for now x♥x♥

A little more belief. In myself - yes, but also in others...so many people have amazing talents and ideas but don't commit, don't take the leap of faith needed to make it a reality. Step out of your comfort zone once a day for all of February, make a habit of it and great things will happen.

A little less confusion. Be inquisitive, ask questions to get complete clarity on your day to day life...this in turn should mean less stress, less worry.

Talk to people that will engage with you - who knows who they know, or what they know!
