Bloomin Soap...

I love soap ...

... and these triple milled darlings are just
the kind that get my heart racing....

... made by Michel Design Works
heavenly scented....

... stunningly packaged ... Sigh...

... and no I'm not being endorsed to say any of this
(however if the company need a tester,
marketing manager, stylist...
... photocopy lackey? ... I'm there baby)

It's UK based so the closet POM in me would love it if, by some chance,
they desperately needed an Australian gal to come on over and
help design, promote, use .... smell any new lines.

I had a look a their website and they are soon to release
a range for the festive season ... swoon.

Whilst taking photos of the soap I decided
that (actually) I want to be a stylist....

... that way I get to work with beautiful products as well as hopefully
some brilliant creative minds and perhaps a few florists too....

... Our garden provided all these blooms...

... stunning yes?

So there you have it...

A change in career whilst smelling soap...

..... and collecting flowers.

And people think I'm fickle ... Pfffffff...

Saturday in the Park ...

They say that you can measure the success of a city
by the amount of greenery it offers....

... well actually that's just something I made up.
I would measure the success of a city that way and
indeed my city scores very highly in this category.

Hyde Park is one such successful spot.
Cafes within walking distance and ample parking.

A lovely lake, picnic benches, a playground...

... and all importantly ... lots and lots of trees.

A mocha or two ...

... something sweet filled with caramel goo...

..... a friend who'll eat the crumbs you drop...

... people smiling and kids giggling....

What more can you ask?

This kind of public art is popping up everywhere and
I must say I just love it.

We even spotted a couple of Black Swans...

Our state bird

I think Hyde Park will see a lot more
of the JAm family this Spring

****

So how was your weekend?
Your plans for the up and coming week?
We spent today in the garden cutting back
mad bushes and weeding.
In a minute my brother will be dropping by
with my nieces... It's been a very blessed weekend

Just because I love you....

Hubby walked in with these this week...

... I waited a few days for them them to open...

... whilst I'm a "posy from the garden kinda gal"
I have to admit
that Lillie's are architecturally VERY impressive ...

When I asked what I had done to deserve this
impromptu gesture he said ....

"Just because I love you"

Sigh....
(and yes .. he's good in bed too)
(Are you allowed to say stuff like that on a blog?)

Thank you darling ... receiving flowers for no
particular reason beats all...

♥To the moon and back baby♥

Around here lately ...

Birthday treats & city jaunts ....

... cool street art ...

... super heroes ...

... trees spared in amongst demolition and dirt ...

... friends ...

... spring time ...

... and tea with treats. Of course.

We have kerbside/verge collection this weekend.
I am scouring neighbouring streets for guess what?

A pot belly stove.

High Hopes?

Hmmm ... Probably.

Inspiration

I have this fabulous mood board next
to my working space. It's an old wrought iron
gate that we found at the back of our property when
we were replacing the run down fence.

I had the idea when I saw Vintage Spinster using something similar
to display all her stunning period hats.

Mine houses a whole variety of bits and bobs, images and cards,
fabric and jewelry ...

I love to rearrange items and often
I find I've inadvertently stayed true
to a specific colour scheme
(usually blues & greys)

I love that just by glancing up and focusing on
one or two pieces juxtaposed along side each other
I'm inspired with new ideas and montages...

I'm even brave enough to put
my own creations on it ...

Do you have a mood board?

How do you use it? Are you ordered and methodical?

Or is it a mish mash like mine?

When you look at it do find themes revealed?
I do.

I think that's what I love the most.

Its like a window to my soul...
