Mary and Max...

I just loved the movie Mary and Max.
It's had me pondering and reflecting and smiling.
It's had me looking at the world up side down and inside out.
It's had me thinking twice & speaking only once.
Isn't that cool?

Here are a few quotes from it...

"He smelled like licorice and old books, she thought to herself, as tears rolled from her eyes,
the color of muddy puddles"

"Butts (cigarette) are bad because they wash out to sea,
and fish smoke them and become nicotine-dependent"

"When I was young, I invented an invisible friend called Mr Ravioli. My psychiatrist says I don't need him anymore, so he just sits in the corner and reads"

"Dr. Bernard Hazelhof said if I was on a desert island, then I would have to get used to my own company - just me and the coconuts. He said I would have to accept myself, my warts and all, and that we don't get to choose our warts. They are part of us and we have to live with them. We can, however, choose our friends, and I am glad I have chosen you"

So if you enjoy your films a little on the quirky side. with substance, unique perspectives, love and tolerance...
WATCH THIS FILM.

That's all.

PS - The photos are not from the film - I wish I was as cute as Mary!
